Gaurav Gupta, Spokesperson and Convener of International Affairs, BJP J&K, on Friday lauded Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, for hisauthoritative rebuttal at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos, against claims that India is a “second-tier” AI nation.
Vaishnaw, during a high-level panel on “AI Power Play,” highlighted India’s practical, inclusive, and responsible approach to Al adoption, reaffirming the country’s position as a global Al leader. Gupta pointed out that the Stanford Global AI Vibrancy Index 2025 ranks India third in AI preparedness and penetration and second in AI talent, up from seventh last year
