Ghaziabad, once known for crime and gang-war films, has now become a model of good governance: CM

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that under the leadership and inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh has undergone a remarkable transformation over the last eight years, and Ghaziabad is a shining example of this change. “The perception of the city has changed. Ghaziabad, which was once known for crime and gang-war movies, is now emerging as a model of development, cleanliness, and good governance,” he said.

The CM was speaking to media persons in Ghazibad on Thursday. He said, “Ghaziabad is now counted among the top 50 cleanest cities in the world and is the first cleanest city in the state. Ten years ago, no one could have imagined that this district would be connected to a 12-lane green-field expressway or that the country’s first Rapid Rail would pass through it. But today, all of this has become a reality. Ghaziabad now has Rapid Rail, a 12-lane highway, metro connectivity, and an airport as well.”
