Cong slams Govt over power, water crisis in Jammu

Amid an intense heatwave, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has sharply criticized the power and water crisis gripping the Jammu region, accusing the government of failing its people.
In a strongly worded statement, JKPCC condemned Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's recent remarks, calling them misleading and out of touch with ground realities.
The party said unscheduled power cuts and low voltage have disrupted daily life, especially for the elderly, sick, and children, while severely impacting water supply in both urban and rural areas.
