Two days after actor Silambarasan TR revealed in a social media post that his next will be a combination of Dum, Vallavan and Manmadhan with "Gen Z sensibilities", the official announcement of his upcoming film has dropped. The actor is now all set to join hands with director Ashwath Marimuthu.

On Monday, AGS Entertainment, the film's production house, made it official that they would bankroll the film, tentatively titled AGS 27. The upcoming film marks the first collaboration between Silambarasan and AGS Entertainment. Meanwhile, this film will mark Ashwath Marimuthu's second collaboration with the
