'My dad inherited martyrdom, not wealth': Priyanka flays BJP

While addressing the Nyay Sankalp Sabha (her first 2024 LS polls rally in Madhya Pradesh) in support of Nitu Sikarwar in the Morena constituency of the Gwalior-Chambal region, Priyanka said, "The PM accuses my father of being a traitor and having scrapped a law just to inherit mother's wealth. But not PM Modi, only you who send their children to guard the country's borders can understand that my father (Rajiv Gandhi) didn't inherit wealth from his mother (Indira Gandhi). He inherited the spirit of martyrdom." On an emotional note, Priyanka recounted the 1991 assassination of her ex-PM father.
