BIHAR-born Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman and former Congress national media coordinator Radhika Khera joined the BJP on Tuesday.

-  RAJESH KUMAR THAKUR

Their joining came on the third phase of poling in general elections and triggered speculation that the saffron party may consider sending Shekhar Suman to the Rajya Sabha either from Bihar or some other Hindi heartland state.

Shekhar Suman has recently been seen in the 'Heeramandi' webseries. After joining the party, the actor said he joined the BJP with "positive thoughts" for contributing to the development of the nation.
