The Flamingo Festival is set to make a comeback from January 18 to 20, 2025, after a four-year hiatus, the State government announced.
The festival, a State-level celebration, will be held across five key locations, Neelapattu, BV Palem, Atakanithippa, Sri City and Sullurupeta, highlighting the region's biodiversity and the annual arrival of migratory birds. The district administration is expecting a huge turnout of tourists and students for the event, which will feature over 200 bird species. The event will focus on promoting eco-tourism and showcasing species such as Grey Pelicans, Spoonbill Storks, Openbill Storks, and Cormorants. It will feature eco-friendly seminars, cultural perfor
