APSCPCR members say the commission will make several recommendations to the State govt regarding support required to eliminate childhood cancers
THE Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) conducted a review meeting on the early detection of genetic cancers in children on Friday. The meeting, held in the Surgery Gallery Conference Hall of King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam, involved discussions with doctors from the hospital's oncology and paediatric departments.
Deputy Superintendent of KGH Dr V Ravi, Head of Medical Oncology Dr K Shilpa, Head of Paediatrics Dr BS Chakravarthy, along with paediatric specialists Dr Ratnakumari and Dr Sandeep, participated in the meeting. AP SCPCR members Gondu Sitaram and Adilakshmi Triparna presided over the session.
