Rental rate for belt-type paddy harvesters is ₹2,500/hour

COLLECTOR Sibi Adithya Senthil Kumar finalised the rental rates for belt-type paddy harvesters at ₹2,500 per hour and for tyre-type paddy harvesters at ₹1,800 per hour for 2025 during a coordination meet held at the district collectorate on Monday.
The meeting included farmers and private paddy harvester owners. The collector stated, "Samba paddy has been cultivated on a significant 89,000 hectares, and harvesting is currently underway."
