CS no-show: DMK MLAs walk out of DISHA meet

A review meeting of the District Development Coordination & Monitoring (DISHA) Committee at the Puducherry Collectorate was briefly disrupted on Wednesday after DMK legislators, led by Opposition Leader R Siva, walked out in protest over the absence of Chief Secretary Sharad Chauhan and senior department officials.
The meeting, chaired by Puducherry Lok Sabha MP V Vaithilingam, reviewed progress on centrally assisted projects across five departments: Smart City Project, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Survey and Land Records, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, and Town & Country Planning. Rajya Sabha Member Selvaganapathy, Collector A Kulothungan, DMK MLAs Anibul Kennedy and L Sampath, Congress Member M Vaidyanathan, and ruling AINRC MLA V Arumugam were also present.
