CPM, Public Submit Plea to Reunite Thirukovilur with Villupuram District

Members of the CPM, along with residents of the Thirukovilur constituency, petitioned the collector on Monday to reunite the entire taluk with Villupuram to resolve administrative confusion.
In a plea addressed to CM MK Stalin, the group put forth two demands—either reunify the entire Thirukovilur with Villupuram district or establish a new revenue division headquartered at the vacant Manampoondi development office to streamline administration without added government expenditure.
