3-day state mourning in Pondy for former CM

THE Union Territory of Puducherry will observe three days of state mourning from December 9 to 11, 2024, as a mark of respect for MDR Ramachandran, former UT Chief Minister, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 93.
The National Flag was flown at half-mast across government buildings during the mourning period, and all official entertainment was suspended, as per a government notification.
