REELING under ethnic violence for over two years, Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam seeking ₹1,000 crore special central assistance to help avert a deepening fiscal crisis, sources said on Wednesday.
EXPANDING its investigation into the illegal online betting apps case, the Enforcement Directorate has questioned and recorded statements of cricketers and celebrities, including Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina and Urvashi Rautela, sources said on Wednesday.
