Irrigation project deadlines should be met: Naidu

CHIEF Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials of the Water Resources Department to strive to achieve the target set for completing various irrigation projects and there should be no compromise on the same.
During a review meeting with Minister for Water Resources Nimmala Rama Naidu and other senior officials of the department, the Chief Minister said during the previous regime, irrigation projects were neglected harming the interests of the farming community. He said it is time to set right those wrongs and expeditiously complete the projects to benefit the farmers.
