Centre Allocated ₹531.36 Crore for AP's Industrial Development: Min

THE Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has allocated ₹531.36 crore to Andhra Pradesh under the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) over the past five years to boost industrial infrastructure and attract investments.

Responding to a query from Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada outlined the Centre's support for industrial growth in the State. He stated that while industrial development is primarily a State subject, the Centre implements various initiatives to promote industries across the country.
