Once-popular rural library in ruins in Perambalur dist

EVEN as the annual book festival is set to be inaugurated in Perambalur in a few days, a rural library at Kurumbapalayam in the district is in ruins.
Villagers want the authorities to take immediate action to restore it.
The rural library under the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (AGAMT) has been functioning since 2005 in Kurumbapalayam. It operates daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
