2 injured in parcel bomb explosion in Ahmedabad, family feud suspected

TWO people were injured when a parcel bomb exploded at a residence in the Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Police said on Saturday.
Initial investigations suggest that the explosion resulted from a family feud. The accused, Rupen Barot, allegedly sent the explosive parcel to target his ex-wife's brother, Baldevbhai Sukhdiya, whom he blamed for his divorce. Barot is said to have worked with two accomplices to execute this revenge plot.
