A bill to implement the uniform civil code (UCC) in Madhya Pradesh will be introduced in the Assembly monsoon session beginning on July 20, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday.
“Our government will bring many contemporary issues in the monsoon session of Vidhan Sabha; UCC will be one of them. With Lord Mahakal’s blessings, the crucial legislation could be passed in the same session only,” Yadav told reporters.
