Student Beaten Up by Seniors for Wearing Sunglasses in Koz College

A first-year student of Holy Cross College, Eranhipalam, Kozhikode was assaulted by seniors during the arts day held at the college.
Following a complaint, the police have registered a case against six students, and the college principal has suspended all six students involved in the incident. Vishnu V T, a resident of Olavanna, was beaten up by third-year students Muhammed Sinan, Gautham and four other students on February 14.
The ragging took place during the college's arts day. First-year BBA student Vishnu had been dancing wearing sunglasses during the event when a group of six third-year students got into an argument with him, and after removing sunglasses, the group beat him up.
