100 Fall Ill After Eating Buckwheat on Navratri

NEARLY 110 people fell ill in Dehradun due to food poisoning after eating buckwheat flour (kuttu ka aata) during Navratri fasting on Monday.
Sixty-six people have been admitted to Coronation Hospital and 44 to Doon Medical College and Hospital. Visiting the Doon hospital, health minister Dhan Singh Rawat said, "We are ensuring that all necessary measures are taken for the treatment of the affected."
