STATING that road connectivity and standards in Andhra Pradesh will surpass the roads in America, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has sanctioned new road projects worth ₹27,000 crore for AP, assuring that the Centre is committed to providing all the necessary support to the State.

He along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and others laid the foundation stone for 27 new roads taken up at a cost of ₹5,233 crore at a programme held at CK Convention in Mangalagiri on Saturday, and gave his in principle nod to several new projects worth around ₹1 lakh crore.
