Venkaiah Naidu urges collective efforts to preserve Telugu language
FORMER Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the World Telugu Conference at Godavari Global University (GGU) on Wednesday, urging the preservation of the Telugu language and culture.
Prominent writers and literary figures, including Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Garikipati Narasimha Rao, and GGU Chancellor KVV Satyanarayana, attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Naidu emphasised the importance of voting for leaders who speak Telugu, stating that the loss of one's mother tongue results in the erosion of self-identity and self-esteem.
