Enumeration of Fishers Today for Compensation

The TDP-led NDA government will conduct a statewide enumeration of fishermen on April 18 through district fisheries departments, aimed at facilitating compensation during the 61-day annual fishing ban in 2025.
The ban, in effect from April 15 to July 14, is intended to protect marine life during peak breeding season. "The main purpose of the fishing ban is to promote reproduction and ensure the sustainability of marine life," Ambedkar
