DIG calls for coordinated efforts to combat crime in Kakinada

ELURU Range DIG Ashok Kumar conducted an inspection of the Peddapuram DSP office, Kakinada rural circle office, and Karapa police station in Kakinada district on Thursday.

During his visit, the DIG highlighted a special drive targeting old offenders to prevent crimes, particularly in light of recent grave incidents in the Kakinada rural and Peddapuram circle limits.

He noted that two separate triple murders had occurred in Kajuluru and Vetlapalem villages, both of which were group attacks. As a result, the police department is focusing special attention on these incidents to determine the underlying causes and the influencers involved.
