Recall Naidu's election promise; appeal govt to name new district after Tammanna Dora and develop amenities
THE Adivasi Mahasabha has intensified its demand for the creation of a separate Rampachodavaram district, citing administrative difficulties and lack of access to the current district headquarters in Paderu.
Tribal communities from Rampachodavaram and Chintur agency revenue divisions have opposed their inclusion in ASR district, arguing that the over 300 km distance to Paderu severely limits accessibility.
It may be recalled that before the 2022 district reorganization, Rampachodavaram assembly constituency was part of the erstwhile East Godavari district.
