Protect interest of farmers who have title deeds: MP

MP B Y Raghavendra on Saturday urged the deputy commissioner to give protection to those farmers who have title deeds and serving notices to them is not correct.

Raghavendra visited the office of the deputy commissioner along with a delegation of farmers of Bhadravathi taluk and said Forest department authorities have been serving notices through the office of the assistant commissioner. The farmers are threatened that if they fail to present themselves before the AC, then a unilateral decision will be taken, he said.
