She says it gives her joy to teach Kannada to non-Kannadigas and popularise the language
"Whenever I get time, I try to teach Kannada language to MPs from other states in the Parliament. The District Minister and we are committed to preserving and developing Kannada," said MP Dr Prabha Mallikarjun at Jagalur on Saturday after inaugurating the 14th district Kannada Sahitya Sammelana.
Addressing the public, she said, "It gives me pleasure to teach Kannada for non-Kannadigas and popularise our language and the MPs from other states also show interest in learning our beautiful language."
