Hosts look to avoid twin series loss

THE ODI series will be on line and so will be India’s impeccable record at home for almost 40 years when they take on South Africa in the third and final match of the series at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

It was South Africa, who last won both the Test and ODI series against India during the same bilateral series in 2021-22. At home, however, India have not lost the two series (ODI and Test) of a tour since their defeats against Pakistan in 1986-87.
