GUJARAT witnessed a major push to the cooperative and rural economy on Saturday, as Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Banas Dairy’s bio-CNG and fertilizer plant in Banaskantha and laid the foundation stone for a new milk powder and baby food facility.
Addressing a gathering, Shah stressed that the circular economy model will boost dairy farmers' income by 20% over five years, marking what he called a big step toward White Revolution 2.0. Shah, on a three-day Gujarat tour, signalled that Gujarat is prepared to lead India into what he termed a new era of "circular economy-driven rural prosperity."
