VCK-lawyer scuffle: Bar council forms probe panel

THE Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (BCTNP) on Thursday constituted a two-member committee to inquire into the scuffle that broke out between advocate S P M Rajiv Gandhi and VCK men who had assaulted the former allegedly for waylaying the vehicle of the party founder, Thol Thirumavalavan, on October 7.
The committee — comprising advocates R Arunachalam and D Saravanan (both co-chairman of BCTNP) — will inquire into the incident and submit a report to the general c
