HIGHER education and Chikkaballapur district in-charge minister MC Sudhakar said on Tuesday that Kannada is the most diverse language in the world. Kannada is ranked 27th among the 6,500 languages in the world.
Speaking after inaugurating the Kannada Bhavan here, built at a cost of Rs 17.83 crore, he said many scholars, including Dr Jachani Mahaswamy of Goolur Nidumamidi Math, educationist Dr H Narasimhaiah, director TN Seetharam, and poet BR Lakshmana Rao hailed from Chikkaballapur district.
