Samiti seeks ban on VIP, VVIP passes at Goddess Hasanamba temple

The Goddess Hasanamba Hitarakshana Samiti, led by its president Dr Ramesh, has submitted a memorandum to officials of the district administration demanding a ban on VIP and VVIP passes to bureaucrats, members of the judiciary, and politicians in the guise of protocol for the darshan of Goddess Hasanamba.
The Samiti argued that the widespread VIP culture hampers the experience of lakhs of devotees who visit the temple each year. They said banning
