RSS Volunteers Had Participated in Freedom Struggle, Says Kalladka

RASHTRIYA Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has said that RSS volunteers had also participated in the Freedom Struggle and served a harsh prison sentence and those who say that the RSS did not participate in the Freedom Struggle should read history.
Speaking at the Ugadi festival organised by the RSS at Silver Jubilee Park in Mandya on Monday, Bhat said that some vested interests misleading the people by saying that the RSS had no contribution to the Freedom Struggle. However, Dr Hegdewar had started the organisation in Nagpur on the day of the Ugadi festival.
