WRITER and lyricist Jayant Kaikini remarked that both medical science and art share a common purpose, understanding human life and alleviating suffering.
Speaking at the second anniversary celebration of Nirdigantha and the release of the souvenir 'Nirdigantha Vaagi Yeri - Journey 2024-25', organised by Nirdigantha at Kiruranga Mandira at Kalamandira on Sunday, Kaikini said: "Medical science and art are essentially engaged in the same pursuit, they explore human life and strive to reduce pain. Nursing is the foundation of medical science, yet we often overlook its importance.
