UNION Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy took a jibe at Congress government on proposal to name the KRS Road (Princess Road) after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and said the government must name Devanur Layout and Kesare village after the chief minister.
Speaking to media persons ahead of the DISHA meeting at Zilla Panchayat here on Saturday, Kumaraswamy, while referring to Kesare village and Devanuru Layout, which came under limelight after MUDA acquired 3 acres 16 guntas of land belonging to CM's wife Parvathi and allotted her 14 sites in the posh Vijayanagar locality under 50:50 scheme, said the Congress government must stop insulting the Mysuru royal family by renaming Princess Road after Siddaramaiah.
