Gandhi Wanted To Live Over 100 Years, But RSS Killed Him: Siddaramaiah

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reiterated his controversial remark that the RSS was responsible for Mahatma Gandhi's assassination.
Speaking at the 80th birthday celebration of former MLC and film producer Sandesh Nagaraj at the Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Grounds on Sunday, Siddaramaiah wished Nagaraj a long life of over 100 years in service of the people.
He recalled an incident where a follower once wished Gandhi 100 years of life, to which Gandhi responded that he wished to live for 125 years. "Unfortunately, Gandhi was shot and killed by the BJP. Otherwise, he would have lived longer as per his wish," Siddaramaiah said.
