Ignore rumours, face exams with confidence, DC tells students
The district administration has made all preparations for the smooth conduct of the SSLC examination which will be held from March 21 to April 4.
As many as 15,763 students will write the exam at 53 examination centres in the district. Of the total students, 727 are repeaters. The entire examination will be under CCTV surveillance to maintain transparency. The control room for CCTV cameras of all the examination centres has been set up in the Zilla Panchayat office hall.
Meanwhile, photocopy shops within the radius of 200 metres around the exam centres have been instructed to close.
Deputy Commissioner P N Ravindra urged the students should not listen to any rumours and face the examination with confidence.
All infrastructure has been arranged at the examination centres, and BESCOM has been instructed to take care of power supply so that the exam preparations are not disturbed. Police security has been provided around the examination centres.
