Bilateral meet ahead of SCO Summit sets tone for a forward-looking agenda for India-China relations & trade ties
IN a bilateral meeting ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping laid out a forward-looking agenda for India-China relations as they also focussed on combating cross-border terrorism and addressing the widening trade deficit.
"Cross-border terrorism was mentioned by the Prime Minister as a priority," Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told a press briefing after the talks.
