Trust Plans Rehabilitation Centre for Endosulfan Victims

AS governments have failed to start rehabilitation centres for the endosulfan victims, Hosabelaku Seva Trust based at Bailuru, Karkala taluk has come forward to start one.
The foundation stone for the rehabilitation centre to accommodate 150 girl victims of endosulfan will be laid on Sunday. This project is worth ₹2 crore and donors have come forward to fund it.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, secretary of Human Rights Protection Foundation (HRPF), Udupi Anurag Kini said managing trustee of Hosabelaku Seva Trust Tanula Tarun approached HRPF's president Dr Ravindranath Shanbhogue expressing her desire to open a rehabilitation centre for female endosulfan victims. Dr Shanbhogue guided her.
