Forged Aadhaar cards were used to secure bail for accused persons in ongoing legal cases
The Mangaluru city police have uncovered a major case of forgery and fraud involving fake Aadhaar cards and land documents (Pahani papers) being used to mislead various government departments and the judiciary. Based on credible information received by PSI Harish M.R., on September 9, a police team visited Daddalkad in Mangaluru. At around 9.30 pm, a man matching the description provided by the informer was found standing by the roadside, seemingly waiting for someone.
