CPI(M) Wants Probe Into Allegations of D'sthala Murders

The CPI(M) has demanded an impartial investigation into explosive allegations made by a former sanitation worker under the Dharmasthala temple administration, who claims he was forced over several years to bury and dispose of multiple unidentified bodies.

In a press statement, CPI(M) Dakshina Kannada district secretary Muneer Katipalla said the revelation has triggered widespread concern across Karnataka, especially in the context of long-standing suspicions about mysterious deaths and disappearances in the Dharmasthala region. He noted that numerous unclaimed and suspicious bodies have been recovered over the years, particularly around the Nethravathi river, and that the new testimony lends credibility to earlier public concerns.
