Speaking at a press conference held in Madikeri, he said that the name of the Kodagu District Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Association, which was started in 1990, has been changed to Coorg Hotels and Resorts Association with installation of office-bearers and a committee. "Our mission is to lead the hospitality industry responsibly. Against this backdrop, we are moving forward with the hope of taking the sector towards a better future by recruiting enthusiastic and action-oriented members. This is a collective organisation representing interested and enthusiastic members running hotels, resorts, restaurants and hospitality businesses in the district," he said.
