Megha Engg receives ₹12,800 cr order from Nuclear Power Corp

MEGHA Engineering & Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) has received a purchase order worth ₹12,800 crore from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to construct two 700 MWe nuclear reactors, Kaiga Units 5 & 6, in Karnataka.
This marks the largest order ever placed by NPCIL and MEIL's first major foray into the nuclear energy sector, a field that will shape India's energy future.
