Human Rights Commission had ordered removal of street vendors encroaching on sidewalk
THE Human Rights Commission has directed the withdrawal of an order stating that street vendors can return to the sidewalks near Mananchira LIC to continue their business. Judicial member K Baijunath has ordered the withdrawal of the directive within seven days and mandated the submission of an action report.
The Human Rights Commission had earlier ordered the removal of street vendors encroaching on the sidewalk.
