Rahul Meets Injured Tourist, Assures Govt of Oppn Support

Leader of the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Friday asserted that it is imperative for the country to stand united and defeat terrorism once and for all.
He noted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have condemned the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam. The senior Congress leader assured that the united opposition would fully support any actions taken by the Government in response.
"It has been a tragedy. The entire people of J&K have condemned this terrible action and have fully supported the nation at this crucial hour," he told the reporters here.
The senior Congress leader arrived in Srinagar in the morning to meet the tourists injured in the terror attack. During his visit, he held discussions with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.
