Malabar Districts Fare Well in Higher Secondary Exams

Kannur district secured an impressive 80.22 percent pass rate in the Higher Secondary Examination and is placed fourth in the state.

Of the 31,670 students who appeared, 25,407 qualified for higher studies. Notably, 2,778 students scored A+ in all subjects. Pariyaram Karakundu Don Bosco Speech and Hearing School achieved a remarkable 100 percent pass rate. In total, 43 schools in Kannur recorded success rates above 90 percent, while 50 schools crossed the 80 percent mark.

In the Vocational Higher Secondary Examination (VHSE) category, the district posted a 69.36 percent pass rate. Out of 1,322 candidates, 917 qualified for higher education. Kurumathur GVHSS topped the district in this category with a success rate of 94.92 percent, with 56 of its 59 students passing. Additionally, nine schools recorded pass rates above 80 percent.
