The community, home to about a hundred families, has been facing a severe crisis for the last two weeks where daily life has been disrupted by an overwhelming presence of insects.

Local residents report being unable to cook or sleep peacefully, a situation that has raised serious health and sanitation concerns.

The root cause of the crisis, according to the residents, is the severely neglected and stagnant canal that runs through the area.

The blocked water has become an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes and other insects.
