Report Triggers Concern as 2 Siblings, Classmate & Uncle Hospitalized with Similar Symptoms
The nine-year-old girl from Thamarassery who died in the hospital on Thursday following a high fever was suffering from meningitis, her preliminary post-mortem report said, even as her father accused the hospital management of negligence.
The official cause of death, and whether the girl, Anaya of Korangad, was suffering from amoebic meningitis, will be confirmed in the detailed test results expected on Saturday.
