AS PART of the efforts to mitigate the recurring floods in the Meenachil and other river basins, the Kerala Congress (M) is preparing to submit a detailed action plan to the state government.

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @Kottayam

The action plan will be developed based on the suggestions emerged from a recent symposium organised by the party as well as upcoming meetings with public participation.

According to KC (M) district president Prof Lopez Mathew, the party intends to hold discussions and opinion formation on a regional basis with greater public participation prior to submitting these project proposals to the government.
