SECURITIES and Exchange Board of India Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said on Saturday that the markets watchdog is easing regulatory processes to help NRIs to invest in equity markets in India.

The regulator is looking at simplifying ways in such a way that the nonresident Indians (NRIs) do not have to travel back to their homes for complying with the know your customer (KYC) requirements.
